    General Function

Lead the Operations Behind Real-World Emergency Response Training

Do you know what it takes to safely operate a driving track where law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical professionals train for real-world emergencies?

Central Piedmont is seeking an experienced public safety training operations professional with specialized knowledge of emergency vehicle driving environments, driving track safety, and high-risk training facility operations.

This is not simply an administrative or instructional leadership position.

We need someone who understands the operational complexities of running a driving training facility-from track inspections, vehicle movement, and instructor coordination to risk management, emergency response planning, and safe execution of behind-the-wheel exercises.

The Critical Response Training Center features two specialized driving tracks designed to support realistic emergency vehicle operations and scenario-based public safety training.

The person selected for this position will provide leadership, oversight, and operational management of these tracks and the Centers associated critical response training environments.

We are seeking top-level talent-professionals who bring deep operational knowledge, sound judgment, and demonstrated experience managing complex, high-risk driving training environments.

We also recognize that professionals with this level of specialized expertise may have compensation expectations that reflect their experience and the value they bring.

At Central Piedmont, we believe in transparent, candid conversations. We want to better understand the compensation expectations of individuals who possess the expertise we are seeking and explore how those expectations align with the opportunities and compensation framework available to us.

If this opportunity speaks to your experience and professional interests, we encourage you to apply.

Applicants are encouraged to apply promptly, as this posting may be taken down before the listed closing date once adequate candidate interest has been reached.

    General Function:

To provide leadership, oversight, and operational management of the Critical Response Training Center within the Community Lifeline Public Safety Training Facility.

The Master is responsible for the safe, compliant, and effective operation of scenario-based training environments including 2 driving tracks that offer a reality-based training behind the wheel.

This position ensures that all critical response, emergency vehicle operations, tactical, and cross-agency exercises are conducted in compliance with state certification standards for Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS; safety regulations; and national best practices in public safety training.
