Emergency Veterinarian

Offering up to 75K sign-on bonus and relocation allowance if applicable

 

About You

You’ll provide excellent, in-the-moment care when patients need it most. You’ll hone your ability to triage and assess critical needs – with a team to back you with support - and lean on our community to shift in schedule or role.

  • Willingness to care for sick and injured patients who arrive on an emergency basis, along with managing hospitalized patients
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans
  • Oversee technicians who are carrying out plans
  • Perform surgeries, provide critical care, and ensure a high level of service for all patients

Experience & Skills Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
  • State Veterinary Board License:
  • Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment
  • Obtained prior to start date
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
  • Experience in emergency medicine, including work experience, small animal rotating or emergency internships, is strongly recommended.
