  • Rigging & Setup: Safely rig up and down EMI equipment, communicate with wellsite leads and engineers, and coordinate with rig crews.
  • Inspection & Analysis: Interpret EMI readings to classify tubing condition (e.g., “yellow-band” or “red-band” joints) and determine if it meets API or customer standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly check and maintain EMI tools and safety gear; perform housekeeping and shop maintenance.
  • Safety Compliance: Wear PPE at all times, follow safe work procedures for handling heavy tubing (often 200+ lbs), and ensure compliance with safety and incident reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift over 50 lbs, work in remote well locations, and handle equipment in challenging environments.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license (no CDL required), ability to pass drug tests, and familiarity with oilfield safety protocols.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Work Environment

  • Location: Multiple oilfield sites (Hobbs, NM and surrounding area and Farmington, NM).
  • Schedule: Full-time, often 40+ hours/week, including weekends, nights, and on-call overtime.
  • Conditions: Outdoor, mobile work in remote well sites; exposure to oilfield hazards and weather.

Pay & Benefits (Typical)
