Medcor is seeking a full-time EMT or Paramedic to join our team as an Onsite Health Technician at our employer-based occupational health clinic in Tucson, Arizona.
This is an excellent opportunity for an EMT or Paramedic looking to transition out of traditional EMS, ambulance, or 911 work while continuing to use their clinical and emergency-response skills in a hands-on healthcare environment.
You'll provide direct patient care, treat workplace injuries and illnesses, support workers' compensation and return-to-work programs, and gain valuable experience in occupational health all while enjoying a consistent four-day workweek with Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday off.
Compensation & Schedule
Starting pay: $28.00/hour, with additional earning potential based on experience.
This is a full-time, four-day workweek:
Wednesday: 1:00 PM11:00 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM8:00 PM
Friday: 10:00 AM8:00 PM
Saturday: 11:00 AM9:00 PM
SundayTuesday: Off

About the Role
As an Onsite Health Technician, you'll provide hands-on patient care while supporting the daily operations of Medcor's employer-based occupational health clinic.
You'll work collaboratively with Medcor's medical and operational leadership, client staff, local medical providers, and outside healthcare partners to provide high-quality care to employees.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assessing and treating workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor's evidence-based clinical protocols
Providing first aid and emergency response when needed
Supporting workers' compensation case management
Facilitating Return-to-Work (RTW) programs
Monitoring treatment plans and coordinating with outside medical providers
Conducting pre-employment and post-offer screenings
Supporting onsite employee health and wellness initiatives
Documenting patient care using Medcor's electronic medical record (EMR)
Maintaining accurate and timely medical charts
Providing exceptional service to employees and client leadership
Building strong relationships with employees, client contacts, medical providers, and the Medcor team
Supporting the overall daily operations of the onsite clinic
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
Current EMT or Paramedic certification/licensure required for the position
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong patient assessment and clinical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer and technology skills, including comfort working with electronic medical records
Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag
Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with clinical and operational teams
Professional, dependable, and patient-focused approach to care
It's a Plus If You Have
Previous occupational health or worksite clinic experience
Emergency medicine or EMS experience
Workers' compensation or case management experience
Experience working independently in a clinical environment
Occupational health experience is a plus, but it is not required. If you're an EMT or Paramedic ready to take your clinical skills in a new direction, we'd love to hear from you.
