We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Endodontist to join our advanced dental practice. You will specialize in performing complex endodontic procedures, managing traumatic dental injuries, and diagnosing intricate sources of oral and facial pain. Operating in a state-of-the-art facility, you will utilize specialized equipment like surgical microscopes and digital imaging to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Perform Advanced Procedures: Execute complex root canal therapy, endodontic retreatments, and surgical interventions such as apicoectomies. Diagnose Internal Tooth Pathology: Identify dental pulp inflammation, infections, abscesses, and deep root fractures. Treat Dental Trauma: Manage emergency cases involving cracked, broken, or completely knocked-out (avulsed) teeth. Utilize Specialized Technology: Operate digital radiographs, Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scanners, and high-powered operating microscopes. Manage Patient Comfort: Administer local anesthesia and sedation safely while prescribing appropriate post-procedure pain management or antibiotics. Collaborate Globally on Care: Work seamlessly alongside general dentists and other dental specialists to build holistic, multi-disciplinary treatment plans. Maintain Accurate Records: Document detailed clinical notes, treatment plans, and post-operative progress within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software. Educational and Licensing Requirements Doctoral Degree: Must hold a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school. Specialty Training: Successful completion of an additional 2 to 3-year post-doctoral residency program in endodontics. Active Licensure: A valid, unrestricted state license to practice dentistry in the designated location. Certifications: Active DEA and state controlled-substance registration; board eligibility or active certification by the American Board of Endodontics (ABE) is highly preferred. Required Skills and Attributes Excellent manual dexterity and precise hand-eye coordination for micro-surgery. Strong diagnostic, critical-thinking, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
