Endpoint Detection Engineer - CrowdStrike (Remote, USA)

We are looking for an Endpoint Detection Engineer for a global high tech company. In this role, the EDR Engineer is responsible for auditing, administering, and optimizing the CrowdStrike Falcon platform to ensure the enterprise endpoint security posture remains strong and resilient. This role combines technical expertise in endpoint detection and response with hands on troubleshooting across Windows, Linux, macOS, and cloud environments. The engineer will collaborate with IT, Network, and Security teams to deliver scalable solutions, remediate vulnerabilities, and support incident response activities.

This is a 12 month (extensions likely), 40 hour/week, remote role in the USA.

This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive audits of CrowdStrike Falcon console, policies, and sensor deployments; generate reports and recommend improvements.
• Own installation, implementation, maintenance, and operational performance of CrowdStrike Falcon components.
• Manage deployment and health of Falcon sensors across multiple operating systems and cloud endpoints; troubleshoot installation and communication issues.
• Configure prevention policies to align with organizational security posture.
• Partner with Security Analysts and Incident Responders to ensure optimal threat detection, investigation, and remediation.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, processes, and best practices for EDR operations.
• Work closely with IT, Network, and System Administration teams to integrate endpoint security into enterprise infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with CrowdStrike Falcon / EDR platform in large enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems and security features.
• Experience deploying and maintaining CrowdStrike across enterprise endpoints, including cloud hosted systems.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, host based firewalls, and endpoint troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to document processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Large scale enterprise deployment and scalability projects.
• Collaboration with cross functional teams on EDR support tickets and escalations.
• Familiarity with incident response workflows and SLA driven remediation.
• Ability to create dashboards and reporting for executive visibility.
• Extensive cyber and IT security knowledge.
