Endpoint Security Engineer (CrowdStrike/Tanium) - Chicago, Denver, DC

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Engineer, deploy, configure, and optimize endpoint security platforms (CrowdStrike, Tanium) at scale
• Develop and automate security workflows to boost operational efficiency and rapid threat response
• Integrate endpoint tooling with SIEM, SOAR, and cloud-native security platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Manage ingestion, monitoring, and analysis of endpoint security telemetry
• Drive enhancements and upgrades for security tools, including architecture and API integration
• Collaborate with Security Operations, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to strengthen compliance and security posture
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for endpoint technologies and integrations

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, endpoint engineering, or security platform engineering
• Proven hands-on expertise in CrowdStrike and/or Tanium administration, deployment, and automation
• In-depth knowledge of EDR technologies, backend security architectures, and APIs
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure security tool deployment
• Strong scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR platforms (e.g., Splunk) and security monitoring integrations
• Demonstrated success in implementing, optimizing, and supporting large-scale security tools

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-native endpoint security solutions
• Prior involvement in enterprise security enhancement projects
• Additional scripting or automation tool proficiency
