Energy Supply Software Configuration Analyst

Location: Jackson, MI

Work Arrangement: Onsite with potential for remote work up to 2 days per week

Industry: Utility / Energy

Pay Rate: Starting at $49/hr

We are seeking an Energy Supply Software Configuration Analyst to support enterprise applications within a local utility environment. This role will work closely with business and IT teams to gather requirements, configure and support enterprise applications, assist with system implementations, testing, integrations, and ongoing application support.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Energy Supply business and IT teams to gather, define, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and configuration designs.
• Configure, implement, maintain, and support COTS enterprise applications, including Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, Hitachi Energy eSOMS, Pandell Land Property Management, and related systems.
• Support system configuration, installation, testing, deployment, and post-production activities.
• Develop and maintain application configuration and system/process documentation.
• Evaluate system enhancements and recommend technology solutions and process improvements.
• Create and execute test strategies, test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Support manual and automated testing, including Worksoft test automation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including backlog management, sprint planning, and user story refinement.
• Manage risks, issues, change requests, and defects throughout project and support activities.
• Perform data analysis, data mapping, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Support integrations between enterprise applications and related business systems.
• Provide end-user support, training, and knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, Business Systems Analysis, Application Support, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years supporting Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, or similar enterprise project/construction management platforms.
• Experience gathering business requirements and developing functional documentation.
• Experience creating user stories, use cases, business process documentation, and system requirements.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application configuration, implementation, and support.
• Experience with software testing, test planning, test execution, and defect management.
• Knowledge of Worksoft or comparable test automation tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Experience with data analysis, data mapping, and enterprise application integrations.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Pandell Land Property Management.
• Experience with Hitachi Energy eSOMS.
• Experience supporting field devices and associated software.
• Utility, energy, or other regulated-industry experience.
• Experience with Lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
