Engagement Manager, Future Platforms

About the Role

Join a team deploying accounting automation products for enterprise customers. You will combine accounting expertise, software implementation, and customer management to help finance teams configure and launch practical workflows.

What You'll Do

• Manage customer engagements from scoping through deployment, working directly with CFOs and finance teams.
• Assess customer workflows and configure accounting and ERP software to meet their needs.
• Lead pre-sales and post-sales activities for general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and payments products.
• Explain complex accounting and technical concepts clearly to customer stakeholders.
• Take ownership in a fast-moving environment and help build processes as the work evolves.

What We're Looking For

• Three to five years of experience in ERP or accounting software implementation, finance transformation consulting, or a related deployment or customer success role.
• Hands-on experience implementing and configuring ERP or accounting systems, such as NetSuite or Oracle.
• Strong understanding of accounting workflows, including general ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, accruals, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Experience scoping customer requirements and configuring software accordingly.
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with senior finance stakeholders.
• An accounting or finance degree is preferred; a CPA is a plus.
• Comfort working with limited structure and taking a hands-on approach to customer deployments.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $160,000 to $200,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in New York, New York, four to five days per week.
