Join Our Team as a Senior Package Engineering Specialist

Located in the vibrant community of Fort Washington, PA, our company is seeking a dedicated and innovative packaging engineer to join our team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work both on-site and remotely, with the possibility of being on-site 5 days a week during critical line trials. Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and production scale-up of packaging components and systems.
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, supply chain, and other departments to address packaging needs.
• Manage regional execution of technical projects, including technology transfers and process improvements.
• Ensure quality and compliance by adhering to GMP training and procedures.
• Plan and execute life cycle management initiatives for packaging.
• Lead complex packaging projects focused on compliance, cost savings, and innovation.
• Develop and coordinate physical testing to ensure product and package integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve packaging-related issues in manufacturing and the field.
• Develop packaging guidelines and standards for processes and functional requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of industry experience, with at least 3 years in package development and packaging equipment.
• Experience within the Consumer, OTC, or Pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment.
• Advanced technical knowledge related to package materials, equipment, testing, and development.
• Experience overseeing complex projects in a matrixed environment.

Preferences

• GMP experience.

Physical Demands: Office deskwork requiring sitting, walking, using phone & computer. May lift up to 30 lbs occasionally. This role may require up to 25% travel based on business needs.
