    Job Summary:

    The Engineer II is responsible for designing and optimizing processes for large scale manufacturing, planning and testing production methods, and overseeing facility operations. This role involves a combination of research, data analysis, and hands on work to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability in the production of chemical products.

    Responsibilities:

    Research and Development

    Conduct experiments and analyze data

    Develop new products or improve existing ones

    Collaborate with cross functional teams

    Process Design and Optimization

    Design and plan production processes

    Optimize processes for efficiency and cost effectiveness

    Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

    Safety and Environmental Compliance

    Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols

    Implement and maintain safety procedures

    Monitor and mitigate potential environmental impacts

    Quality Control and Assurance

    Develop and implement quality control procedures

    Conduct quality assurance testing

    Ensure product consistency and quality standards are met

    Project Management

    Plan and coordinate projects from conception to completion

    Manage timelines and budgets

    Communicate with stakeholders and provide project updates

    Technical Support

    Provide technical support to colleagues and clients

    Troubleshoot technical issues

    Train and educate team members on new processes or products

    Documentation and Reporting

    Maintain accurate records and documentation

    Prepare reports on production processes and results

    Present findings and recommendations to management or clients.

    Qualifications:

    A bachelors degree in degree in Engineering or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.

    Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

    Proficiency in data analysis and simulation software.

    Knowledge of chemical process engineering and safety regulations.

    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
