About this Job
This position serves as an Engineer in the Lafayette Regional Office (LRO), Operations Division of the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA). The incumbent performs advanced and responsible engineering work in implementing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Construction Administration for CPRAs overall coastal restoration and hurricane flood risk reduction program.
Minimum Qualifications
Eligibility for a Louisiana Engineer Intern Certificate.
NOTE:
This is a temporary position to be utilized while the incumbent is securing a Louisiana Engineer Intern certificate. Permanent status shall be denied to incumbents occupying this position.
NOTE:
Louisiana Engineer Intern Certificates are issued by the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board. Licensing requirements may be viewed at www.lapels.com.

Compensation: The maximum salary for the Engineer 5 is $126,256 annually.
There are special bi-weekly entrance rates established for this position:
Engineer Intern 1 $2,115.20
Engineer Intern 2 $2,263.20
Engineer 3 $2,671.20
Engineer 4 $2,952.00
Engineer 5 $3,158.40
