Business Hours: Monday through Friday**No nights, weekends or major holidays** INTRODUCTIONWe are looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! This role will provide excellent medical care to our patients while providing comfort, support, and education to our diverse patient population. The RN will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care and patient satisfaction. In this role, you will collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers to provide comprehensive care to our patients. Our ideal candidate must have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and have excellent communication skills. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li> Monitor patients' conditions, charting and reporting changes</li><li> Administer medications, treatments and therapies prescribed by physicians</li><li> Assist physicians in examinations and procedures</li><li> Guide and counsel patients and their families on health maintenance and prevention</li><li> Monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse</li><li> Operate and monitor medical equipment</li><li> Collaborate with healthcare professionals to devise individualized care plans for patients</li><li> Assist with patient rehabilitation and post-operative care</li><li> Observe and record patient behavior</li><li> Educate patients and families on disease prevention and health management</li><li> Participate in continuing education activities to maintain and update knowledge of nursing practices</li></ul>Requirements:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE<ul><li>Successful completion of an accredited RN Program</li><li>1-2 Years Hospital or Clinic Experience Preferred </li><li>OR and PACU experience required</li></ul>CORE COMPETENCIES<ul><li> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li> Ability to prioritize and multitask</li><li> Ability to work with a diverse patient population</li><li> Knowledge of current nursing practices and standards</li><li> Demonstrate understanding of medical terminology</li><li> Ability to work with electronic medical record systems</li><li> Proficiency in Microsoft Office</li><li> Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li> Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li> Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills</li><li> Ability to develop and maintain lasting relationships with patients and colleagues</li><li> Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations</li></ul>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS<ul><li> Current LA RN license required</li><li> Current CPR Certification required.</li></ul> PI660c3413f950-25401-39795097
