Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Pay Rate: $55.00 $55.01 / Hour (USD)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain updated schematic diagrams for infrastructure and low-level architecture design diagram
• Maintain updated inventory of network devices
• Monitoring network performance, system availability, and reliability
• Installing and configuring network hardware such as Wireless AP, Switches, Phones, Routers across site, Labs, Office and Data Center
• Participate in network implementation projects if required

Required Skills

• Knowledge and experience working with Cisco and/or Juniper network equipment
• Familiarity with basic switching and routing such as VLAN, VXLAN, STP, VPC, HSRP, NAT, IPSec, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP
• Familiarity with IP communication and routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
• Familiarity with LAN / WAN / WIFI / Structured Cabling and network equipment such as firewalls, switches, routers, wireless controller, load balancer, Infoblox
• Knowledge in network monitoring tools, automation, packet-level analysis of application and network protocols
• Good analytical skills, especially in incident and problem management
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Time management and communication skills
• Positive attitude; possesses keen sense of urgency, and is a clear-thinker able to perform in high-pressure situations
• Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies
• Passion and knowledge about IT networking

Required Experience

• Skills in network protocols and technologies, familiarity with network security principles, and experience with networking equipment are highly valued

Education Requirements

• Background or study in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
