Job Details

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our growing Heavy Civil team. This position is ideal for an ambitious construction professional looking to build a long-term career managing complex infrastructure projects throughout the Denver Metro area. As our company continues to grow, Project Engineers are given increasing responsibility, direct project ownership, and a clear path toward Project Management.

Whether supporting a single large-scale infrastructure project or multiple civil construction projects, you'll work alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents while gaining exposure to every phase of project delivery.

What You'll Do
Support Project Managers and Senior Project Managers on heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Manage RFIs, submittals, project documentation, permit compliance, and project correspondence.
Coordinate with field supervision to support daily construction operations and project execution.
Assist with work planning, quantity tracking, scheduling, and cost control.
Lead project safety orientations and help maintain project safety documentation.
Maintain project photos, records, and documentation to ensure accurate project reporting.
Participate in owner, subcontractor, engineering, and progress meetings.
Coordinate with estimating, accounting, safety, procurement, and field operations to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Support change order management, pay applications, and project reporting.
Build strong working relationships with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
