What You Will Do
Design and implement backend systems that support Web3 applications and payment infrastructures.
Collaborate with a team of engineers to enhance the scalability and reliability of payment solutions.
Develop smart contracts and integrate them into existing systems to streamline transactions.
Analyze system performance and optimize backend processes for increased efficiency.
Contribute to the architectural decisions that shape the future of the company’s technology stack.
Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
Work closely with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Ideal Candidate Background
4+ years of experience in backend engineering, with a focus on Web3 technologies.
Proven track record of building scalable applications and payment systems.
Strong proficiency in programming languages relevant to backend development.
Experience with blockchain technology and smart contracts.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
Preferred
Experience in the fintech or crypto industry.
Knowledge of decentralized finance (DeFi) applications.
Familiarity with cloud services and microservices architecture.
Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the blockchain community.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $180K to $250K, complemented by equity participation between 0.1% and 0.25%. This is an exciting opportunity to join a pioneering company at the forefront of the fintech revolution.
