Job Summary
The Engineer Quality II will support the Quality Services Team across factory engineering processes, including in-line inspection, GD&T analysis, CMM inspection, tool and gauge asset management, and non-conformance processing and containment.
The role will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Management, and Shop Floor teams to support product quality, process compliance, inspections, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Priority Skill: Candidates with GD&T Analysis / CMM Inspection experience will be strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
· Support quality planning, control, and improvement activities across manufacturing and engineering processes.
· Perform in-line inspections and support inspection/containment activities.
· Perform GD&T analysis and CMM inspections.
· Support tool and gauge asset management.
· Process and support non-conformance, containment, and corrective activities.
· Analyze manufacturing and materials processes to support quality and process improvements.
· Support engineering solution development and feasibility testing.
· Perform inspections to evaluate quality and conformance with specifications and requirements.
· Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to support quality requirements.
· Identify process, system, and procedure deficiencies and support corrective actions.
· Support product development and engineering activities.
· Work with established project plans to achieve quality and engineering objectives.
· Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Management to ensure process compliance.
· Support Shop Floor personnel, including handlers and inspectors, with containment and inspection activities.
· Use SAP, NCCA, DNCM, and other applicable tools to process and complete quality-related work.
· Prepare daily reports and documentation.
· Communicate daily priorities and completed work.
· Maintain process documentation and controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications
· Strong manufacturing experience.
· Strong understanding of quality engineering and inspection processes.
· GD&T experience strongly preferred.
· Experience with CMM inspection/programming strongly preferred.
· Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office / MS Suite applications.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with Operations, Engineering, Supply Management, and Shop Floor teams.
· Willingness to learn, adapt, and engage with changing business needs.
· Ability to work with quality documentation, reporting, and process controls.

Education
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a similar discipline.
