Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer, Quality for a Contract with a client in Scarborough, ME. The ideal candidate will support manufacturing operations by resolving quality issues, ensuring compliance with established procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Rate Range: $40/Hour to $45/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer, Quality Responsibilities include:

• Support manufacturing operations by resolving quality issues and implementing corrective actions in accordance with established procedures.

• Provide quality oversight on the production floor to ensure compliance with manufacturing processes and documentation requirements.

• Review and maintain accurate Device History Records (DHRs) and support line clearances, inspections, and rework activities.

• Ensure adherence to FDA, cGMP, ISO, and other applicable quality and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote quality system effectiveness and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Identify and communicate quality risks, defects, and compliance concerns while maintaining professional interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related technical field.

• 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, or a regulated medical device/pharmaceutical environment.

• Working knowledge of FDA, cGMP/QSR, and ISO quality system requirements.

• Strong technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
