Position Overview:

As the Engineering Director - Automation (Chemical Manufacturing), you will be responsible for leading the engineering efforts, leveraging your expertise in automation technologies within the chemical space. Key Responsibilities:

Automation Expertise:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of automation systems within the chemical manufacturing processes.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge to optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and reliability.

Financial Management:

• Demonstrate a proven track record in managing budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility in engineering projects.
• Manage P&Ls, collaborating with finance teams to optimize spending while maintaining high-quality standards.

Project Management:

• Manage and execute complex engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful automation solutions aligned with business objectives.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a management role within the chemical manufacturing industry, specializing in automation.
• Proven track record in managing budgets and P&Ls for engineering projects within the chemical space.
• Demonstrated experience in building and mentoring automation teams, fostering leadership development.
