About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and oversee the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of buildings, machinery, and facilities
• Collect and review data related to equipment and facility specifications as well as regulatory requirements and construction feasibility
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering firms to develop design criteria and prepare detailed layout drawings
• Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facility acquisitions
• Evaluate and estimate design costs including equipment, labor, materials, and installation
• Direct or inspect construction and installation progress to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and project schedules

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 15 years of experience in facilities engineering, specifically related to industrial or manufacturing facility design
• Proficient in reading and executing engineering drawings and specifications with strong CAD system knowledge
• Demonstrated success in delivering comprehensive engineering packages

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced experience with construction project management
• Familiarity with government or highly regulated environments
