Engineering Field Technician

Summary: Responsible for safe, and effective operation of industry specific equipment with the primary purpose of performing inspections of sanitary sewer and storm water collection systems. Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering field inspections including, but not limited to: manhole inspections, smoke testing, flow monitoring, GPS locates, and water dye testing.
• Install flow monitoring systems within sewer manholes.
• Inspect manholes manually or with telemonitoring equipment
• Operate and maintain instruments and equipment.
• Accurately document inspections in a timely manner with detailed field notes.
• Obtain and maintain all required safety training and certifications which could include, but are not limited to: OSHA 10 Hour, confined space, CPR/First Aid, defensive driving, and spotter's training.
• Adhere to all the safety requirements of the position while assisting team members to do the same.
• All other duties as assigned.
