Looking to gain real engineering experience this summer while getting paid? Join Mark Rite Lines Equipment Company (MRL) and work alongside our engineering team on real-world projects that impact machinery used around the world.
MRL is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of high-performance equipment used for traffic paint application, line removal, and surface preparation. As a Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology intern, you’ll get hands-on experience working across multiple departments while contributing to real engineering and R&D projects.
What you'll do:
Design and implement R&D projects
Reverse engineer subcomponents
Improve BOMs
Apply DFM principles to older models
Work with all departments, including engineering, fabrication, assembly, purchasing, etc
Requirements:
Enrolled in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
SolidWorks Experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Basic measurement tool skills
This opportunity is on-site in Billings
Interest in Heavy Equipment Design and Manufacturing
Willingness to learn and collaborate in a team-focused environment
Benefits:
Pay Range: $20 - $22 DOE
Possibility of full time offer at completion of the program
