Join our dynamic Sensor Mechanical Design Center as a Mechanical Engineer in Moorestown, NJ. Leverage your expertise to advance mechanical structures, enclosures, and electronic modules for cutting-edge programs within the RMS Line of Business. Collaborate across engineering disciplines and be a driving force behind innovative solutions that impact mission-critical technology.

[Responsibilities]

• Lead the design, analysis, and verification of mechanical components and assemblies using CREO
• Perform detailed thermal and structural analysis with Ansys to ensure optimal performance
• Partner with Systems, Electrical Engineers, Drafting, and Operations teams to create robust designs and assembly strategies
• Contribute to the integration, testing, and requirements verification for multiple projects
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical data packages
• Participate in design reviews, supplier interactions, lab, and test facility activities
• Support production and troubleshoot issues to drive continuous improvement

[Required Skills and Experience]

• Minimum 6 years CREO mechanical modeling experience
• At least 3 years Ansys thermal and structural analysis expertise
• Proven track record in mechanical design for sensor and electronic module applications
• Strong background in cross-functional engineering collaboration
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

[Preferred Skills]

• Experience with technical data package preparation and supplier engagement
• Familiarity with production support for complex electronic assemblies
• Prior involvement in testing and verification of defense or aerospace technologies
