EPM - Engineering Program Manager
SF Bay Area.
Location: SCV, Sunnyvale, CA.JD: Summary
We're looking for 2 Engineering Program Managers to drive delivery of interactive experiences across Apple's marketing platforms. You'll be embedded with engineering and product teams, owning the day-to-day execution of complex, cross-functional programs — keeping work on track, removing blockers, and ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery of web experiences that reach millions of customers.
Key Responsibilities
•
Drive execution: Own program schedules, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent interactive workstreams. Track progress daily, surface gaps early, and hold teams accountable to commitments.
•
Coordinate across teams: Facilitate alignment between engineering, product management, design, QA, and marketing partners. Run planning sessions, standups, and retrospectives. Ensure everyone knows what's shipping, when, and what's blocking.
•
Manage releases: Coordinate release planning and execution for interactive experiences tied to product launches and campaigns. Work closely with release management and QA to maintain quality and hit externally-driven deadlines.
•
Identify and resolve risks: Proactively track dependencies, flag risks, and drive mitigation. Escalate decisively when needed — with clear context and proposed paths forward.
•
Improve how we work: Spot friction in team processes and propose targeted improvements. Help establish repeatable program rituals that increase predictability without adding overhead.
•
Communicate status clearly: Maintain program trackers, dashboards, and status updates. Translate engineering complexity into concise updates for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
•
Build technical context: Develop working familiarity with the Marcom technology stack — CMS platforms, publishing infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and AI-powered tools — sufficient to have informed conversations with engineers and make sound scheduling tradeoffs.
