Engineering Teacher - Career & Technical Education- MIDDLE SCHOOL POOL

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's Degree (Engineering);
• Work experience in engineering field
• Valid State of Texas Certification in one of the following:

(1) Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering: Grades 6-12.

(2) Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering: Grades 8-12.

(3) Secondary Industrial Arts (Grades 6-12).

(4) Secondary Industrial Technology (Grades 6-12).

(5) Technology Education: Grades 6-12.

• Or Trade and Industrial Certificate Grade 9-12 with emphasis in engineering
• Or eligibility letter from an Alternative Certification Program

PREFERRED:

• Experience in CNC programming, mechanical drawings, 3D printing and solid modeling, handling industrial robots, AC/DC circuits, pneumatics, Adobe products, computer systems and coding software.

The Engineering Teacher is to provide instruction in the subject area of Science Technology, Engineering & Mathematics to secondary level students and is required to provide instructional services in a manner consistent with Board Policy and consistent with statutes and standards of regulatory agencies.
