Engineering Technician 3

Scope:
The Injection Molding Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and optimizing injection molding and related manufacturing equipment to support safe, efficient, and compliant production operations. This role provides technical expertise in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to reduce downtime, improve equipment performance, and ensure product quality.

Job Summary:

The Injection Molding Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous operation of injection molding, assembly, robotic, and auxiliary manufacturing equipment within a regulated manufacturing environment. Through the execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, this role minimizes equipment downtime, supports product quality objectives, and enables efficient production operations.

Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Calibration, and Operations teams, the technician provides technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation system issues. The role also supports equipment installation, startup, validation activities, process optimization efforts, spare parts management, vendor coordination, and maintenance documentation. This position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance.
