Summary:
We are seeking an Engineering Technician to support the assembly, testing, and evaluation of advanced mechanical and electromechanical systems. This is a hands-on role working closely with engineering and technical teams in a precision manufacturing and laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble components, subassemblies, and mechanical systems according to engineering procedures and production schedules.
Support testing activities by preparing equipment, conducting performance testing, and collecting data.
Document test results, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings to engineering teams.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, drafting, and machine shop personnel to complete project objectives.
Assist with process improvements, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Travel occasionally within the U.S. to support manufacturing, integration, and customer-related activities.
This is a direct-hire, full-time position hiring immediately. The schedule is day shift, weekdays, but some flexibility on the start/end times. 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pay is $21 per hour. Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or technical training required.
0-2 years of relevant mechanical, manufacturing, laboratory, or technical experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and similar test equipment preferred.
Proficiency with common hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to leverage AI and technology tools to improve productivity and work quality.
