Enhancement Landscape Crew Leader

Position Overview

Green View has Enhancement Landscape Crew Leader positions available for dependable, friendly, and motivated team members. You'll lead by working alongside your crew on light landscaping installations and maintenance cleanups, hands-on every day. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead planting of annuals, perennials, shrubs, and small-to-medium trees with proper placement, spacing, and soil prep
• Oversee mulch and decorative rock installation, ensuring uniform coverage and correct depth
• Direct removal of plants, invasive species, and debris with a focus on efficiency and quality
• Install brick edging, landscape borders, and simple hardscape features with proper alignment
• Operate hand pruners, loppers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws for trimming and maintenance
• Inspect and safely operate hand tools, wheelbarrows, motorized augers, and skid steers
• Train crew members on techniques, material handling, and equipment use
• Monitor project progress and adjust workflows to hit productivity and quality targets
• Support snow and ice removal during the off-season

What We're Looking For

• Experience in landscaping or a related field, with a willingness to lead
• Comfortable directing a crew and holding people accountable to quality standards
• Valid Illinois driver's license with a clean driving record
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
• Available for snow operations as needed
