Position Details:
Surgical Tech- Chico CA
Location                           : Chico CA 95926
Duration                          : 13 weeks
Pay-rate                           : $40-$43/hour
Shift                                   :10-hr shifts, Varied shifts
 
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Surgical Technologist to support surgical teams in delivering safe, high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will assist with surgical procedures in the main operating room and may be required to support outpatient same-day surgery services as needed.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and properly arranged.
• Assist surgeons and other surgical team members during procedures by providing the necessary instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sterile fields and follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Handle surgical instruments and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and transportation as required.
• Monitor and maintain the sterility of surgical supplies throughout procedures.
• Follow established patient safety standards and operating room protocols.
• Support surgical services across inpatient and outpatient settings as needed.

 
Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of recent hospital experience as a Surgical Technologist or graduation from an accredited Operating Room Technician program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and operating room procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
