Our custom tooling capabilities, technology, and state of the art powder coating facilities are all here to help meet and exceed your expectations.What You’ll DoThe Entry Level Extrusion Laborer supports daily aluminum extrusion production by helping keep material moving safely, accurately, and on schedule. You’ll rotate through equipment as needed and learn multiple stations through cross-training.Key responsibilities include assisting with basic machine operation (saw helper, tail stretcher, head stretcher, saw operator, press operator), monitoring output for quality, following manufacturing and safety procedures, and handling material throughout the process.Required qualifications/skills:- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple machines- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety protocols- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals- Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, percentages)- Ability to lift/move up to 70 lbs regularly- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and clear communicationIf you want steady, hands-on work and room to build skills, apply for the Entry Level Extrusion Laborer role.A Typical ShiftYou’ll work onsite at Flextrude Aluminum Shapes (2540 Jewett Lane, Sanford) on full-time 12-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with overtime when production requires it. Expect a fast-moving shop floor: you’ll start by checking your station’s safety notes, then spend the day rotating where the line needs support. You’ll stay in sync with the crew, keep an eye on measurements and finish, and document any issues so the next step in the process stays on track.
