LINK Staffing is hiring a CNC Machinist Trainee in South Houston. This full-time, temp-to-perm role pays $16–$18/hr and offers a Monday through Thursday schedule with three-day weekends.

This position is a good fit for someone with some hands-on machining experience who wants to build CNC skills. You will assist experienced operators, learn basic machine operation, and support production on CNC lathes, Swiss-style CNC lathes, and vertical machining centers.

What You’ll Do

• Assist operators with CNC machine operation
• Help run CNC lathes, Swiss-style CNC lathes, and vertical machining centers
• Support machine setup, production flow, and basic machine checks
• Clean machines and keep the work area organized
• Follow safety procedures and shop instructions
• Learn machining terms, tools, measurements, and basic production practices
