We are hiring Data Center Technician Trainees to join our team in Northern Virginia. No experience is required. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals with a positive attitude who are eager to learn a skilled trade.

You'll receive paid, hands-on training from experienced technicians and learn everything you need to become a successful Data Center Technician. This is an entry-level opportunity with excellent advancement potential in one of the fastest-growing industries in the country.

What You'll Learn

Our training program will teach you how to:

• Install and organize copper and fiber optic cabling
• Rack and stack servers and networking equipment
• Install cable management systems
• Read construction drawings and layouts
• Label and document cabling
• Use industry-standard hand tools
• Follow data center safety procedures
• Work alongside experienced technicians on active projects
• Understand data center infrastructure and best practices

No previous knowledge is necessary—we'll teach you everything you need to know.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians with daily installations
• Learn proper installation techniques for structured cabling
• Organize and label cables according to project standards
• Build and install equipment racks
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all company and customer safety requirements
• Work as part of a team to complete projects on schedule
• Continuously develop your technical skills through on-the-job training

Qualifications

No experience required!

Preferred (But Not Required)

• Construction experience
• Warehouse experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Electrical or low-voltage experience
• Military experience
• Trade school education

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the day
• Work on ladders when necessary
• Use basic hand tools safely
• Work in active construction and data center environments

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Pay: $15.00–$18.00 per hour
