About the Role:
Spot On Surveying, Inc. is looking for a motivated Entry Level Survey Crew member to join our team in Buda, TX! Responsibilities:
- Assist survey crew with field data collection, measurements, and boundary surveys
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment including total stations, GPS/GNSS instruments, and levels
- Set survey stakes, flagging, and markers accurately in the field
- Clear vegetation and obstacles to establish survey lines
- Record field notes and assist with documentation of survey data
- Transport and care for equipment to and from job sites
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment on all job sites
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior surveying experience required — on-the-job training provided
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain
- Physically capable of walking long distances, lifting equipment, and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first attitude
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
