Entry Writer

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a detail-oriented Entry Writer to support customs brokerage and international trade operations. This role is responsible for preparing and processing customs entry documentation, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, and coordinating timely shipment clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and submit customs entry documentation for import shipments
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade requirements, and company procedures
• Review shipment documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, customs officials, and internal teams to facilitate cargo clearance
• Resolve customs and shipment-related issues while supporting operational and billing activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Prior experience in customs brokerage, logistics, import/export operations, freight forwarding, or data entry preferred
• Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and entry procedures
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics or brokerage software systems
