In other words, you bring ideas to life in physical form/s. This role is eligible to work a hybrid schedule based in Los Angeles or San Francisco, CA.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign physical solutions that reflect brand narratives and experiences, as well as other experiential messaging through the creation of three-dimensional environments and structural elementsContributes to the design of the physical solution through development of environment and structuresFunctions as a subject matter expert for low to medium-complexity projectsDelivers desired results through established methods, templates and standardsContributes to design quality assurance and coherence to design intentCommitment to project schedules, including timely and complete handoff to detailing teamsManage time and workload to meet project task deadlines and commitments with regular interaction and direction from Creative and Design LeadershipMaintain comprehensive CAD files and well-documented design collateral including estimation packages, renderings, and black & white drawing setsPresents concepts to internal audiences, manages and completes revisions, and resubmits as neededLeverages best practices and experience to contribute to projectsAppetite to learn specifics about custom and system fabrication to inform design thinkingEducation & ExperienceFormal qualifications in one of the following: architecture, environmental design, retail design, interior design, industrial design, exhibit design or experiential design1 - 5 years of industry experience in a related field: for example, brand experience at a creative/event/experience agency, architectural design firm in applicable areas of space design, visual design, industrial design with a focus on audience experienceProficient in either 3D Studio MAX and/or SketchUpGrounding in concept sketching, environmental branding, floor plan/space development, presentation layouts, basic construction drawingsGood understanding of technologies, and materials and methods of fabrication of exhibits and eventsFamiliarity with AI tools and willingness to adopt new innovationsAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary teamExceptional organization skills, strong attention to detail, and a positive attitudeAdapts swiftly in dynamic and evolving settingsEffectively communicates internally through timely and appropriate written, oral, and visual meansExhibit initiative, process innovation, problem solving, and quality decision-makingTravel RequirementsTravel up to 25%What We OfferMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceTuition ReimbursementPaid Parental LeaveLife, Accident and DisabilityRetirement with Company MatchPaid Time OffSalary range $66-74k based on level of experienceDiversity CommitmentAt The Freeman Company, our commitment to diversity and inclusion is helping us to create not only a great place to work, but also an environment where our employees, our customers and our communities around the world can reach their goals and connect with each other.
