Environmental Manager

Job Opportunity in Environmental Management

Defiance, OH. We're looking for someone to help us manage and improve our environmental programs. If you have a knack for keeping things green and compliant, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

• Keep our environmental policies and training programs up to date.
• Manage our air quality, waste disposal, and water treatment systems.
• Work with regulatory agencies to ensure we're following all the rules.
• Help answer customer questions about our environmental efforts.
• Prepare reports for regulatory agencies.
• Investigate any environmental incidents that occur.
• Build positive relationships with environmental groups and regulators.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Management, or a similar field.
• Five years of experience leading environmental programs, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with air, waste, and water permits.
• Good understanding of environmental rules and regulations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
