POSITION OVERVIEW
As an Environmental Manager, your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Lead Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs for a large manufacturing facility.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage air compliance, environmental permitting, hazardous waste, and drinking/wastewater compliance programs.
- Conduct environmental audits and identify opportunities to improve compliance and environmental performance.
- Analyze environmental metrics and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to EHS personnel and facility leadership.
- Develop and deliver environmental training programs.
- Partner with operations to identify environmental risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Support sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Environmental Manager who enjoys leading environmental compliance programs and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal candidate would have deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Environmental compliance.
- Air permitting and air quality regulations.
- Drinking water and wastewater compliance.
- Hazardous waste management.
- EPA and environmental regulatory compliance.
- Manufacturing EHS programs.
- Risk assessment and environmental auditing.
- Sustainability initiatives.
- Leadership and team development.
- Manufacturing experience within foundry, oil & gas, paper mill, or other heavy industrial environments.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Compensation:Based on Experience. One of the best in the industry.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related technical field.
Minimum Experience: 5+ years of environmental or EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
