Position Overview
Not All Environmental Careers Look the Same.
Some jobs keep you behind a desk.
Others put you in the middle of projects that help shape communities, protect resources, and solve real-world environmental challenges.
At UES, you'll have the opportunity to do both.
As one of the nation's leading engineering and environmental consulting firms, we partner on projects that impact transportation, energy, water resources, commercial development, healthcare, and infrastructure throughout the Southeast and beyond. With more than 4,000 professionals nationwide, we're growing rapidly while maintaining the collaborative feel of a local team.
We're looking for an Environmental Scientist who is excited by variety, enjoys solving complex challenges, and wants to build a career that makes a visible impact.
Whether your experience comes from environmental consulting, site investigations, natural resources, construction, compliance, remediation, field services, or another environmental discipline, we'd love to connect with you.
Why This Role Stands Out
No two weeks look the same.
One day you may be evaluating environmental conditions on a development site. Another, you might be collaborating with scientists, geologists, and engineers to help move a project from concept to reality.
You'll gain exposure to a wide range of environmental projects while building skills that can accelerate your career far beyond a traditional field or office role.
This is an opportunity to join a team where curiosity is valued, growth is encouraged, and your work directly contributes to projects that improve communities throughout the region.
