What You'll Be Doing

• Perform soil boring logging and collect soil, groundwater, and soil vapor samples
• Provide field oversight of drilling crews and contractors, including air monitoring
• Prepare daily field reports, manifests, and site documentation
• Analyze environmental data and contribute to site investigation and remediation reports
• Conduct environmental investigations at Brownfield sites, parks, and former industrial properties
• Oversee material handling and stockpile management, including import/export tracking

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in environmental consulting, site assessment, or remediation
• Field experience with sampling, drilling oversight, or environmental monitoring
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently in the field and collaboratively with a project team
• Flexible schedule and ability to travel throughout the five boroughs of NYC

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
