Job Description
Jobletics by Compunnel is hiring Environmental Service Workers (EVS) to help maintain clean, safe, and sanitary healthcare and institutional environments. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect assigned areas throughout the facility
- Clean patient rooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, common areas, and other designated spaces
- Follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Safely use cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and frequently used areas
- Empty trash and dispose of waste according to facility procedures
- Restock cleaning and sanitation supplies
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized manner
- Follow infection-control, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Report maintenance, safety, or environmental concerns to a supervisor
- Complete assigned cleaning schedules and checklists
- Perform other EVS and custodial duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Previous EVS, environmental services, custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation practices
- Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move cleaning supplies and equipment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
