Housekeeping Supervisor – Full-Time

Pennswood Village, a beautiful senior living community in Newtown, PA, is seeking an experienced Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting employees, keeping daily operations running smoothly, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout our community.

The Position

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll oversee daily housekeeping operations, working closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

• Supervise, train, and support housekeeping staff
• Coordinate daily assignments and employee schedules
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are maintained
• Monitor cleaning supplies, equipment, and linen inventories
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures
• Respond to resident requests and address service concerns
• Assist with hands-on housekeeping duties when needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience required, preferably in housekeeping or a related field
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and products
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Windows and word processing
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage changing daily needs
