Environmental Services Supervisor

Job Summary


We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Environmental Services Supervisor to lead and coordinate cleaning, sanitation, and custodial operations across our facilities. In this vital role, you will oversee a team of cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation are consistently maintained. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across multiple departments, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards and safety regulations.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of custodial staff, providing training and support to optimize performance and teamwork.
• Develop work schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and monitor progress to meet operational goals.
• Conduct inspections to verify cleanliness, safety practices, and adherence to company policies; address any deficiencies promptly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; ensure proper use and storage in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with management to implement new cleaning procedures or sanitation protocols as needed.
• Foster excellent customer service by addressing client concerns swiftly and professionally while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial services, industrial cleaning, or commercial cleaning environments with a focus on sanitation management. Must have experience leading Deep Cleaning and Terminal Cleaning projects.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management skills; previous leadership roles in janitorial or hospitality settings are highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning operations and sanitation procedures.
• Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively lead staff and coordinate with other departments.
• Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with laundry services or hospitality housekeeping management is a plus.
• A proactive attitude with strong organizational skills and the ability to motivate a team toward shared goals.
