Environmental Technician

The individual will use cleaning devices including 16oz wet mops, wringers, dusters, vacuum cleaners, cleaning chemicals, and other necessary tools, products, and supplies. This job requires the applicant tobe able toexert 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly. QUALIFICATIONS: Mustpasspre-employmentandannualphysicalexamination Must,afterbrieftraining,beabletodemonstratethecorrectuseof chemicals,supplies, andtoolsassigned. Previousenvironmentalexperiencepreferred Mustunderstandthepotentialhazardspresentedbytheuseofchemicalstoselfandto others asis outlinedin the DepartmentsWritten Hazard CommunicationProgram. The candidate selected for this position will be required to attend a hospital and a departmental orientation upon hire.
