Seeking an experienced Epic Inpatient System Analyst (Willow) to support the implementation of Epic's inpatient pharmacy application for a major healthcare client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring, testing, deploying, and supporting Epic Willow while partnering with pharmacy, clinical, and technical teams to optimize medication management workflows and ensure a successful implementation and go-live.
Configure and maintain the Epic Willow Inpatient application to support inpatient pharmacy and medication management workflows.
Participate in the full implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and go-live support.
Configure medication records, formularies, dispensing workflows, order verification, pharmacy settings, and clinical workflows.
Collaborate with pharmacists, physicians, nursing staff, and clinical stakeholders to design and optimize medication management processes.
Perform unit testing, integrated testing, system validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support during implementation and go-live activities.
Develop application documentation, configuration specifications, workflow diagrams, and end-user training materials.
Support post-go-live stabilization, application optimization, upgrades, and ongoing enhancements.
Ensure Epic configuration complies with organizational standards, medication safety practices, and healthcare regulations.
Work closely with cross-functional technical and operational teams to deliver high-quality Epic solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience implementing and supporting Epic Willow Inpatient applications.
Hands-on experience with Epic Willow configuration, implementation, testing, deployment, and go-live support.
Strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy operations, medication management workflows, and clinical processes.
Experience participating in multiple Epic implementation projects across the full project lifecycle.
Experience performing workflow analysis, application configuration, integrated testing, and production support.
Ability to troubleshoot complex application issues in fast-paced healthcare environments.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with clinical, pharmacy, operational, and technical teams.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Epic Willow Inpatient Certification.
Experience supporting Epic application upgrades, optimization, and post-production enhancements.
Knowledge of medication management, pharmacy operations, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
Experience working in large healthcare organizations or integrated delivery networks.
Familiarity with Agile, SDLC, or healthcare implementation methodologies.
Education Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Pharmacy, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
