Equine Veterinary Technician

Our hospital is seeking an Equine Veterinary Technician to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital.

The Equine Veterinary Technician assist clinicians with exams, procedures and surgery. The Equine Veterinary Technician will work closely with the veterinarians and technicians to help ensure all patients receive proper care and treatment. Applicants must demonstrate professionalism, dependability, healthy and positive communication skills, and the ability to multi-task.

Prior experience preferred

This position requires regular on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Due to the nature of veterinary hospital operations, in-person attendance is necessary to support patient care, respond to time-sensitive needs, collaborate with clinical teams, and maintain the safety and well-being of patients, clients, and staff. Current state licensure in good standing for Veterinary Technician roles

Handling horses - restraining, jogging, lunging, bandaging

Processing bloodwork and labs

Documenting records of patient care and preparing client invoices

Maintaining clean/sanitary treatment area

Autoclaving and instrument care

Cleaning/restock ambulatory vehicles
