Work Schedule
This position requires a 100% onsite commitment with a 40-hour work week.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, select, and order equipment that is most appropriate and cost-effective for manufacturing company products.
- Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers'technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
- Study equipment performance and reliability.
- Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and resolving equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
- Define and write preventative maintenance schedules.
- Autonomy: Work independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects or assignments.
- Organizational Impact: Set objectives for own job area to meet the objectives of projects and assignments;contribute to the completion of project milestones.
- Innovation and Complexity: Address general problems and issues, requiring understanding of broader set of issues or other job areas;make adjustments or recommend enhancements in systems and processes.
- Communication and Influence: Communicate primarily with internal contacts to share information, gain input, and support decision-making.
- Leadership and Talent Management: May provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals and/or employees in the Support Career Stream.
Requires a Baccalaureate degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 0 years relevant experience.
