Legacy Staffing has partnered with a world-class hospital in Mayfield Heights, OH to hire an Equipment Logistics Technician. We are hiring for first and mid-shift opportunities (see below) with a pay rate starting at $15/hour. This role focuses on the recovery, cleaning, inspection, documentation, and redistribution of critical medical equipment throughout the hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform targeted rounding in active patient care areas to recover equipment for processing and redistribution
- Clean, inspect, evaluate, and deliver medical devices and equipment, including infusion pumps, syringe pumps, feeding pumps, PCA pumps, DVT pumps, specialty beds specialty carts, and durable medical equipment
- Accurately document work activities using an electronic database
- Order supplies, stock patient rooms, and deploy supplies to hospital units and departments
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and available to support patient care needs
- Follow all hospital safety, infection prevention, and operational procedures
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Hospital, healthcare logistics, or equipment management experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document work activities
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Shift Availability:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Sunday - Thursday
- 2nd Shift: 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM Sunday - Thursday
Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand, walk, and remain mobile throughout the facility for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and transport equipment, carts, beds, and supplies weighing up to 100 lbs. or more
- Ability to operate computers, medical equipment, and cleaning equipment
- Ability to inspect, clean, maintain, and troubleshoot medical equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively and accurately document work activities
- Ability to safely use cleaning products and distinguish colors as needed for equipment identification and inspection
