    What You'll Do:

    Operate material handler (Grapple) and excavators to move and process metal

    Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenanceFollow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environmentWork outdoors in all weather conditionsSupport the team with additional duties as needed

    What We're Looking For:

    2 years of previous experience with material handling and excavators

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditionsStrong work ethic, teamwork skills, and ability to multitaskMust pass a background check, physical, and drug screening

    Required Skills & Abilities

    OSHA or safety certification preferred (not required)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamFamiliarity with scrap metal materials and commodities is a plusAbility to perform all physical, mental, and environmental job functionsComfort working in all weather conditions including heat, cold, and rainStrong time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skillsEffective verbal and written communication skills

    Education & Experience

    High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2+ years of consecutive crane operating experience required

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements

    Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind)May be exposed to moving mechanical equipment and heavy industrial activityNoise levels may be high; hearing protection is requiredRequires prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walkingFrequent bending, kneeling, and physical movement requiredMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsWork may include confined spaces and other industrial conditions requiring PPE
