Position: Equipment Service Technician
Location: Rural Hall, NC (On-Site / Field-Based)
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 1–2+ Years
Compensation: $23.00 – $48.00 per hour (based on experience and language skills)
Travel: Up to 80% annually
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostics & Repair: Perform maintenance, modifications, and troubleshooting on drilling equipment and machinery in both shop and field settings.
- Documentation: Read operating manuals and schematics, maintain accurate service records, and prepare daily documentation.
- Communication: Coordinate professionally with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders (Spanish fluency is a plus).
- Compliance & Safety: Follow all environmental, health, and safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and participate in safety talks.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education/Experience: Technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repair.
- Core Skills: Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and independent problem-solving skills.
- Gear & Documentation: Must provide a personal set of tools, hold a valid driver's license with a clean record, and have (or be able to obtain) a U.S. Passport.
- Availability: Flexible to respond to service needs on short notice with high travel willingness.
