Job Description: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an Emergency Department (ER/ED).

  • Active California Registered Nurse (CA RN) License.

  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI.

  • Must receive the flu vaccine; no exemptions permitted.

  • Required skills: IV starts, telemetry (tele), and conscious sedation.

  • Trauma and triage experience highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries.

  • Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and prioritize care based on acuity.

  • Initiate IV access and administer medications and treatments as ordered.

  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and assist with conscious sedation procedures.
